Dental training for our volunteers!

On March 25th 2021, our staff and volunteers received informative training from Sophie Burton, the Oral Health Improvement Practitioner from the Community Dental Services team in Oxfordshire.

Community Dental Services is an employee owned social enterprise CIC delivering clinical dental and Oral Health Promotion services throughout Bedfordshire, Luton, Norfolk, Waveney, Oxfordshire, Leicestershire, Essex, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Their social mission is ‘Improving Oral Health in Ever More Communities’.

The training session was enjoyed by our volunteers, although discovering the sugar content of some well-loved foods was a little scary!
