We’re part way through our volunteer preparation course and our new recruits have been learning about safeguarding, building a secure foundation, communication and values & attitudes. So far our new volunteers have found the course really helpful and it has raised some interesting discussions around what their role is when home visiting.
The group have been getting to know each other and setting ground rules for how the sessions will work. This week they enjoyed some nature play delivered by Hanna from Muddy Feet – Outdoor Learning and Forest Schools at the Bridge Street Garden, Banbury. We’re very fortunate to be able to provide unique learning opportunities through our fantastic partnerships and we’re really enjoying getting to know our new volunteers and look forward to seeing them begin to support our families.
