Meet Karen Mullins-Blyth…
“I feel so privileged to be working for such a worthwhile charity which makes a real difference to the lives of young families.”
Karen is one of our Staff Organisers and has been with us since 2009. She has previously worked with young offenders and in the private school sector. In the past, she has also volunteered as a trained motorcycle instructor. She lives with her husband, son and daughter in a lovely village just outside Banbury.

Meet Christopher Woodhead…
“I am delighted to be running for Home-Start Banbury, Bicester & Chipping Norton! A very worthwhile cause providing much needed help for families.”
Christopher runs regularly, but has not completed a half-marathon for several years. He reported that his training is going ok so far, but feels there is a long way to go! In the past, he has completed two London marathons, so he knows what he is doing. He was encouraged to run by his wife Chloe, who is our Chair of Trustees. Christopher worked in publishing and now runs the literary festival. He is also a trustee for various charities and a proud Grandad.

Meet Hugo Woodhead…
“It’s great to be running for Home-start. Running 13 miles is a very long way, but it will be worth it for such a great cause.”
Hugo has done a few half marathons before but not since becoming a dad.
