Fun at our summer picnic!

The weather stayed dry and the Home-Start team and families had a lovely picnic lunch in People’s Park, Banbury on Wednesday 25th August 2021.

As well as giant dominoes, parachute fun and bat and ball games, some nature scavenging took place and so was very handy for our intrepid explorers to have magnifying glasses in the activity packs that were very kindly sponsored by Banbury Town Council.

After laying out our blankets and having some fun with the colouring books, bubbles and goodies in the activity packs, we all enjoyed our picnics.  We nearly lost one sandwich to an enthusiastic and curious dog(!) but all ended well and lots of snacks and fruit were enjoyed, thanks to a kind offering from Sanctuary Housing.

We really enjoyed seeing families get together to enjoy an afternoon in the park and look forward to the next time we can all get together again.

Thank you again to Banbury Town Council and Sanctuary Housing for their generous donations towards this event.
